Christianity Revealed
The Destroyer

Introduction

Christianity Revealed, The Destroyer, discusses Biblical Christianity and the role of the devil, also called Satan, The Dragon, The Beast and Leviathan. Salvation through Jesus Christ, our high-priest and only bridge to God is the means of escape from judgment and Hell. The fallen angel, Lucifer, brings death and bondage, masquerading as an angel of light as he deceives and lies his way into power over the unsuspecting soul. Bible prophesy and the book of Revelation are discussed, as well as the supernatural, the occult and witchcraft. Antichrist may be coming!

Know Your Enemy

Satan, once called Lucifer, the illuminated one, masquerades as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14: 14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Satan Defeated

Revelation 12:10-11: 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night." 11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.  This refers to the victory of born-again Christians over Satan through the covering of Jesus. Jesus became our perpetual high-priest and bridge to God by becoming the sacrificial Lamb, and protecting us from God's future "great white throne" judgment.

Revelation 20:11-15 11 And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14 And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

This describes the fact that God has predestined many people to be excluded from the "book of life". These people will not be able to accept that Jesus is the Son of God and they will be forced to undergo judgment. Non-Christians will all worship "the beast" or "Mother Earth" or animal spirits. They will take on the mark of the beast, 666. They will worship the devil, the ruler of this world, but they will be fooled because the devil will to appear to be an angel of light. In reality, the devil is a Cherub, a powerful, fallen and evil angel who is a liar and a deceiver.

Revelation 13:8: "And all who dwell on the earth will worship him (the devil in disguise, Antichrist), everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world (predestination) in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain."

Ezekiel 28:14: "You (Satan) were the anointed cherub who covers, And I (God) placed you there (in God's garden). You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire." This is a description of Satan, an Angel who once had great standing with God but was cast out due to pride.

John 12:31: "Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world shall be cast out."

Matthew 4:8-10: 8 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory; 9 and he said to Him, "All these things will I give You, if You fall down and worship me." 10 Then Jesus said to him, "Be gone, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and SERVE Him only.' " This shows that the Satan is the ruler of this world.

The Antichrist

The whale or sea monster is a type of "the Beast from the sea" in the book of revelation and is called Leviathan in the book of Job.

Job 41:1-11: 1 CAN you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord? 2 Can you put a rope in his nose Or pierce his jaw with a hook? 3 Will he make many supplications to you, Or will he speak to you soft words? 4 Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him for a servant forever? 5 Will you play with him as with a bird, Or will you bind him for your maidens? 6 Will the traders bargain over him? Will they divide him among the merchants? 7 Can you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears? 8 Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle; you will not do it again! 9 Behold, your expectation is false; Will you be laid low even at the sight of him? 10 No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him; Who then is he that can stand before Me? 11 Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine.

Revelation 13:1: "And he (the dragon, Satan) stood on the sand of the seashore. And I saw a beast (Leviathan, the Antichrist) coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names." The Bible says that the beast with the blasphemous names (I.E. that uses the name of Jesus irreverently or that brings in other names for God) has the power of the devil (Revelation 13:2 “And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority“). The Bible says the whole world will worship this beast (Revelation 13:3: "...and the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast") and that this beast is a man, a human (Revelation 13:18: "...for the number is that of a man..."). The number of the beast, 666, is calculated by adding the numbers of a name. Hebrew letters are represented by numbers.

The subject of the Antichrist's rise to power and the Great Tribulation and the rapture of Christ's Church are huge and complex undertakings made simple in the excellent series of books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins called Left Behind. This series is true to scripture and makes some of the Bible's hidden and complex secrets available to everyone.

Egypt

To God, ancient Egypt and Babylon both became representative of a hidden or "mystery" nation which is intact today.  "Mystery Babylon" is Satan's hidden spiritual body, his church.  Egypt symbolizes the worship of Ra and other false gods. These false gods are the invisible "rulers" and "powers" referred to in the Bible. They are powerful spirits of nature and they are also fallen Angels, Demons.

Ephesians 6:12: "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
